Santa Maria Partners with Retail Consult to Launch Oracle Retail Solution
Phase I Success Part of Broad Retail Transformation Program.
September 2016 – Santa Maria (Supermercados Santa María), a leading Ecuadorian Supermarket chain, partnered with Retail Consult to implement Oracle’s market-leading retail solutions as part of a multi-phase retail transformation program. The program is highly strategic to Santa Maria with broad changes to both their business and supporting technologies. The goal is to expand the reach of Santa Maria in the Ecuadorian market.
Phase I of the project kicked off in late September 2015 with an Envision phase that included a current state assessment and solution design. Demonstrating success less than one year into the project, Phase I of the solution went “Live” on August 1, 2016. The project is currently in the stabilization phase and Santa Maria looks forward to accomplish a number of improvements including fill rate, turnover rate, and commercial performance. The scope of Phase I was broad, encompassing a number of Oracle solutions: Merchandising (ORMS); Invoice Matching (OReIM); Trade Management (ORTM); Sales Audit (OReSa); and Store Inventory Management (ORSIM). Work on the next phase has already begun with Envision phase for Warehouse Management (ORWMS).
