Walmart Argentina selects Retail Consult

Walmart Argentina announced it has selected Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Platinum level member, Retail Consult, as implementation partner for the digital transformation program that will replace the company’s legacy suite of technology systems with Oracle Retail’s state-of-the-art Merchandising Operations Management Applications and Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management.

Walmart Argentina is one of the biggest employers of the country, offering an assortment of 40.000 items in over 90 stores, supported by a nationwide delivery network and supply chain.  The company has been recently acquired by Grupo de Narváez, a Latin American Group, which has retail operations in Argentina, Ecuador and Uruguay, bringing strong local expertise into the business. The group aims now to leverage the knowledge of the solutions already implemented in other companies of the organization, modernizing the retail operations and improving operational effectiveness of Walmart Argentina, with Retail Consult as its strategic partner.
